Alaska Ports of Call

A cruise to beautiful Alaska includes magnificent scenery, opportunities to observe amazing wildlife, and visits to unique ports of call, each with a very different flavor and history. The main ports of call for the major cruise lines include the capital city of Juneau, the very Russian-influenced town of Sitka, the gold rush town of Skagway, the salmon fishing capital at Ketchikan and the Valley of the Eagles at Haines.

Cruise ships typically depart from Seattle or Vancouver, Canada and cruise north to Anchorage, or else depart from Anchorage and cruise south.
